I encountered him on the jungle floor, being entertained by a treasure chest's contents. As expected, I didn't get any inkling he's taking any of this seriously.

no. we didn't fight.
i helped him out of a trap and then accompanied him a little while longer after that.
trust me, if we threw hands it'd probably cause the entire resort to crumble.
